ReikiIn a city like Manhattan, many behavioral issues are caused by stress. Reiki has a calming effect on pets and humans, and may help make your animal companion more receptive to training and behavior modification. Reiki is based on the idea that all living beings have life energy flowing through them. When life energy is high, your pets are healthy and balanced, more relaxed and less likely to get sick. When it is low, they’ll often be more easily affected by stress and less resistant to illness. Reiki is a safe complement to conventional Western medicine, Chinese medicine, herbal medicine, homeopathy and all other forms of healing. Denise has been a certified Reiki II practitioner since 2003.

Denise is not only a wonderful and skilled trainer, she is also a gifted healer with all kinds of dogs, especially previously stray or rescues dogs who have had a tough background and who have many fears and obstacles to overcome. Not only has Denise helped my senior rescue dog (who says you can't teach and old dog new tricks?), but she has helped me as a person in my own life. Her training goes beyond obedience and she truly takes the whole situation and individual into consideration. I'm so blessed to know her and to have her as my beloved dog's trainer. |
Now that I understand where Cooper is coming from, it makes it easier for me to accept and respond appropriately. I have noticed a difference in my own attitude and also in Coopers' behavior. In fact, he is laying by my feet as I write this. I appreciate the things that have been brought to my attention through your reading. I feel it has truly enhanced the relationship between Cooper and myself. Your reading was really on point and useful, and I also appreciate your own personality - you made it so easy to share. |
Denise loves dogs and understands them deeply. She also loves people. Denise is patient, kind, generous, and elegant. She tailors her instruction to suit the individuality of the dog, his or her guardian, and the bond between them. Denise taught me ways of working with Nellie that were fun for her and comfortable for me, and the results have been extraordinary. I believe that one day Denise Mange will be ranked with Turid Rugass, Patricia McConnell, and Ian Dunbar as one of the greatest dog trainers in the world. |
Denise has been nothing short of amazing! She worked with our 70 lb, totally untrained rescue bulldog at 10 months old and has basically created the obedient dog that he is today. She has also consulted on behavioral topics that have popped up sporadically since, and all of her suggestions have worked wonderfully! Couldn't recommend her more. She is worth every penny, and honestly much more. |
Denise is an amazing dog trainer, just about as good as it gets. When we got our dog Chewy, he was scared of almost everything, didn't know where to go to the bathroom, and didn't want to walk outside on his leash. With Denise's advice, he was able to grow up to be a great pup who loves taking walks outside and doing his tricks! She rocks! |
Denise was truly the best thing that happened to us after we got our baby Frenchie. We hired her for the Puppy 101 Session, and she not only helped us during the session, but also weeks before the arrival. She gave us tips on how to prepare for the puppy and what to expect the first week. We decided to continue with the Basic Obedience Package and it is amazing how a 14 week old puppy can perform all the commands. I am a proud mom! |
